In 2019, the Petersen Automotive Museum debuted their Building An Electric Future exhibit, presented and in collaboration with Volkswagen. The exhibit focused on the company’s restructure of focusing on electric vehicles, as well as hybrids. I was tasked with the ad artwork, and had the idea to relate to Volkswagen's starting at pretty much square one a bit literally. I looked up an electrical diagram of a Volkswagen vehicle and designed the grid to start at ground, and grow as it got to the main title.
