For its reopening, the Petersen Automotive Museum had a massive design overhaul. Part of that project were the Museum guide and brochures given at the admissions desk. It was decided that the fold and size would remain the same, but I saw an opportunity to add an “Easter egg” to the new brochures. In redesigning the look, I conceptualized a simple way they could each stand out individually, but unite as a family when together. The simple idea consisted of what I referred to as the main four “pillars,” (Content [aka guide], Membership, Education and Private Events) are what make up the Petersen.
Proposed design for the four main brochures of the museum.
